The individual at work checks the installation site, understands the layout requirement as per design, assesses precautionary measures to be taken, installs the solar panel as per customers requirement and ensures effective functioning of the system post installation
The individual must have: ability to work in standing position for long hours, good physical strength to
handle solar panels and willingness to work in outdoor settings at varied locations such as roof tops, fields, urban or rural.
- At the end of the program, the learner should have acquired the listed knowledge and skills:
- Describe the process of checking site conditions, collect tools and raw materials.
- Demonstrate the process of installing the solar panel.
- Explain the importance of following inclusive practices for all genders and PwD at work.
- Demonstrate various practices to be followed to maintain health and safety at work.
