Prior to enrolling into the assistant electrician training, I am a student of the sixth semester in Sankardev College Shillong. As the training is being conducted in the college, I pass by the electrician training room every day. Unaware of the course, I never thought of enrolling myself though I have a keen curiosity when it comes to electrical. One day, I was informed about the course in the class and I immediately contact the concern teacher of Sankerdev College who introduced me to the instructor concern who then guided me through the admission process.
The main aim for joining the program is to enhance myself with the skills in electrical work and to broaden my knowledge in this field. So far, the training has been very insightful, informative and practical.
After the training I look forward that the skill acquired will help me to venture into the field of electrical works with more confidence either under supervision or even set out to self-employment in this field.
