


A Beekeeper is responsible for carrying out beekeeping operations which include preparing for and setting up beehives, procuring and introducing bees in hives, and maintaining the bees and beehives. The candidate is also responsible for harvesting, processing and marketing honey and related produce.
The candidates must be physically fit to work for long durations. The person must have attention to detail
and the ability to make independent decisions. The candidate must also know how to read and write.
At the end of the program, the learner should have acquired the listed knowledge and skills to:

- Describe the process of preparing for and starting a beekeeping operation.
- Describe the process of inspecting and maintaining the beehives.

- Describe the process of undertaking employability and entrepreneurial practices.
- Explain the importance of following inclusive practices for all genders and PwD at work.
